I must have been missing something because I thought Connor was way off the pace - particularly in defence.

I thought that whole side looked shaky in defence- only some poor handling/decisions from Catalan saved our blushes...

Defense wasn't as good as last week but then Cats were a far better attacking side that KR.

alot of chopping and changing bound to be a few gaps open up in defence, also with a player like carney in the opposition it will happen.

connors defence always been shaky, tried his best to stop broughton going over in the corner but suppose broughton is a good finisher

Thought we was by far the better team, our forwards outmuscled Catalans and they seemed to only make ground off the back of some dodgy penalties. Thought Connor and Ellis looked very good in the halves and we could have scored more had last pass gone to man. Rapira a massive plus for me a good old fashioned non nonsense ball playing prop forward who will compliment Huby very well. Jerry back to doing what he did all last season and Leroy doesnt get the credit he deserves for giving the quick ball to put Jerry away. Smurph Mr reliable as always and Hinchcliffe very good organiser. Grixy also deserves a mention as went well till got his knock. But the BIG plus was we look 2 yards faster than we did last year. Catalans tipped by many to go well this year but second best Saturday by a country mile
