Quote meast="meast"we have a poor coach according to some doom mongers on here and on the facebook groups!
not sure how you can say what will happen next year either, some teams might gel others might fail, some players might not live up to expectations, others might flourish.
every team has the same chance as the others, let's just wait and see what happens? some people were predicting that we would be relegated with PA in charge'"
Meast we have been waiting to see what happens for the last 20 years, If we haven't got it sussed yet we never will. We get a little better each year and it gives us the idea that next year will be the year, we don't seem to take into account that the other teams are also getting better.
We have got in a couple of players who we seem to be depending on to work miracles, We apparently have Patrick coming back, no doubt hopeing that Wigan will somehow have transformed him into a much better player than we were prepared to let go. Hughes ( a better player is going ).
You ask why does anyone have to go, Answer is simple, half the players in Key positions are either on the way down, or are never going to be good enough to take us to that next level, ( God knows they have had chance )
You seem to be saying lets see how they go this year, We know how they go, they have been here long enough for us to know everything about their game.
If we want crowds to go up we have to play good fast attractive Football and to do that we have to have the right players in the key places, We need someone alongside Brough who can do for us what Briers used to do for Warrington, ( it won't have escaped your notice where Warrington have been going since Briers retired ) anymore than it will how the Giants have improved since Brough arrived.
I'm not saying everything is on one man, far from it, Warrington for example are offloading players who are not good enough for them, They will get other Super league clubs, but it shows that Wolves have a couple of poor seasons and they do something about it, There is no sentimentality involved, they are not prepared to wait and see what happens, They are not prepared to spend a lot of Salary cap on players who are past it or not good enough.
Hopefully Hinchcliffe will make a big difference, but he is one man, he needs some quality around him, Just like Briers had, If we are prepared to just plod on with the same players in the majority of positions we will just get the same results, except the crowds will go down further still.
