I would have been happy to just come on here and talk about an epic game that could have been won by either team in an titanic battle but........... It seems some of your fans ape the behaviour of your classless coach and start complaining Hicks cost them the game. Like I said before, all Anderson ranted on about on SKY was the referee, he never mentioned Leeds or how they played their part in such an enthralling contest, he just moaned, like he normally does. The main reason why Huddersfield lost was because they couldn't get over our line as many times as we got over yours, that is a simple fact. We scored two tries that were right out of the top drawer and defended like our lives depended on it. Anderson always moans about refs when you lose, it's his default position. He is a classless, disrespectful, ignorant buffoon. He is starting to make Shaun Wane look like a good loser.

It will not end up with every play getting reviewed. But every coach will be instructing players to do what Zak did in SL & defo in the NRL. When you go down the rabbit hole of a video ref system that's what you get.

faking injury is not the right thing to do, was fine as soon as the ref decided to give a pen which is what they were looking to get from every play at the end... hicks fell for it unfortunately for giants

The problem with the ablett penalty is if the ball doesn't come free, nothing happens. Play on. But because the ball comes free, the ref is then up an alley. He either has to give a penalty, or a knock on, and when there are opposition hands in and around the ball/the attackers' hands the ref will always be inclined to give a penalty. The ref has to make snap judgements. He doesn't get the benefit of video replays. Speaking of video replays remember when that miniscule, pathetic amount of contact from tom briscoe on brough as they both competed for the ball stopped leeds winning the game at headingley on the last play of the game last year? Obviously that was the right call because it was in huddersfield favour.

People moaning and claiming if that's a penalty there's 30 other penalties. But there's not numerous other incidents where the ball comes free at the play the ball. There was plenty of lying on from both teams which went unpunished because the ref wanted to let the game flow.

He didn't fake an injury. Leeds were trying madly against the clock to win the game. You think hardaker's gonna mess around on the floor and fake injury rather than get up and play the ball?
