Quote jools="jools"They are family men too don't forget! Just because they may not be out at work during the day doesn't mean their wives aren't and their kids will be at school- they aren't prioritising their social lives- they are prioritising their families- and so they should!!!!
Looking forward to today- perfect rugby weather for a change at wakey!!!!!'"
I don't think you have understood. Professional sportsmen aren't the only people in the world that have kids.
If Eorl is really that bothered about Sundays then he can always find another job. Another job in which he may still have to work Sundays and a heap of extra hours on top for much less money and where he doesn't get to post tripe in a newspaper so he can go shooting clays on a Sunday morning.
Eorl plays RL because he is good at it and it pays well compared to what else he could do with the tools he has at his disposal. He is a lucky man. Some people would quite happily play for free for the glory of it, not dictate garbage articles to a reporter in a newspaper that make him sound ungrateful for the luxury of being lucky enough to work 15hrs a week for a rake of cash because society has deemed that the way things are!
In 5 years Eorl's opinon may well be somewhat different. But when he started out RL was played on a Sunday and he knew what he was letting himself into didn't he. To whine about it when he's earning big bucks for 15-20hrs a week when he's already posted on twitter that he spent Sundays on the off-season shooting rather than playing with the bairns means I'm not buying the BS. From him or you.
