| Quote: GIANT DAZ "so with the new season only a week away what are everyone's thoughts on it ?
Where do you expect us to finish ?
What will be seen as the minimum to a successful year?
And what would you class as a disappointing one ?
Which player are you looking forward to seeing most ?
which player do you think will improve the most from last year ?
what one thing do you think as a club we could/should do differently this year ?
Just a pre-season look at different opinions btw no right or wrong answers !'"
Top 4
Again Top 4
Ellis and Huby
Murphy
Perform to expectations come the pay offs, (that could be a curse lol) and use social media more as per other thread.
Come on you Giants

| I'm very excited as usual!
I'm hoping for a top 4 after the 8's and a chance to appear in the grand final. Anything else will be frustrating.
Not bothered about the Challenge Cup so much... Only a Wembley win could compensate a finishing spot below 4th for me.
I'm most looking forward to watching Mullally get stuck in this season. I think he'll be impressive.
I think the cover we have at hooker and the halves now is very exciting. I'm expecting Robbo to have a big season.
The season in whole, is going to be times harder than the last. Looking at the fixture list there's no pleasant run any more.
I'm hoping the new system will strengthen us when it comes to big game pressure.

| Top 4 but wont be easy.
Anything below 6th and Anderson could be sweating on his job.
Looking forward to seeing how Ellis partners brough, going by the first game he played will be great, as will robinson at hooker
The club needs to improve massively on marketing and social media, aim at different age groups

| Where do you expect us to finish ?
Top 6 - I think some fans are under-estimating the impact the new structure will have in achieving a Top 4 finish. Not for a moment am I saying we can't achieve a Top 4 finish - I am very cautiously optimistic - but I think it will be much harder this year than in previous years.
What will be seen as the minimum to a successful year?
Play Offs and/or Challenge Cup Final (as long as we finish in Top 6). Depends on the definition of success, but for me getting into the Play Offs or to the Challenge Cup Final will represent success for us in 2015.
And what would you class as a disappointing one ?
Not competing for the 4 Play Off spots
Which player are you looking forward to seeing most ?
Huby - to put some fire back in the forwards
Ellis - to release the pressure on Brough
Ta'ai - a favourite of mine and this time will have had full pre-season behind him
which player do you think will improve the most from last year ?
Broughton - as we seem to finally have worked out how to use him
Mullally - if he's given the opportunity
Brough - if Ellis can take the pressure off and give him more freedom
what one thing do you think as a club we could/should do differently this year ?
Don't start slowly thinking we can save ourselves for the end of the season (players)
Stop blaming referees (fans)
Get out into Huddersfield and all surrounding areas, using any means neccesary to drag (if required) new fans to the club (Club)

| Where do you expect us to finish ?......As we seem to have now established ourselves a a top 4/5 side in the regular rounds i'd expect to see us there again, obviously the play-offs are a different kettle of fish as we have found out !
What will be seen as the minimum to a successful year?......to me we need to be pushing on now, so i would say anything below 5th will be in my view
And what would you class as a disappointing one ?.....same as usual for us, doing well in the regular season then going to pot come play-off time, we've enough experience now to be doing better in these games.
Which player are you looking forward to seeing most ?.....Jake Connor/Craig Huby .....Connor because he is a huge talent and i enjoy watching him play and Huby because we need some oomph up front and i believe he can give it us !
which player do you think will improve the most from last year ?....As has been said before Mullally needs to be given a proper shot as he was ripping it up end of last year, can't wait to see a more experienced, confident version of him.
what one thing do you think as a club we could/should do differently this year ?......Hard, in your face marketing...we have a great product but no one is buying, speculate to accumulate, become visible, become a presence not just an existence in the town !!
