the price we've paid is for 5 nights, the club is for 3 nights. so that's £200 cheaper (which we will spend on beer plus a bit more no doubt), and if you a beach canet is a euro away on a bus. as you walk around Perpignan you will see fans you have never met before, and as the weekend gets closer more and more turn up. the locals are friendly, the bar owners have got to know us and have a good laugh with us. this year we were asked for a photo with a bride and groom (tried to talk him out of it lol), we sang "falling in love" for them and they loved it (didn't understand the FARTOWN bit though). our motto for failed AA members is "what happens in Perpignan stays in Perpignan" unless it can embarrass a few (I've still got the video meast

Yeah defo would be good to have a catch up with some other fans. Would be me my other half son and the other halfs parents....,need a baby sitter so we can sample perpignans finest

most of us need a babysitter or someone who remembers where the hotel is at the end of the night

. Friday night it's drinky poos at Eric's bar la sauce (ooohhhh the wine) watch the rugby and sample our third steak of the week

Hoping to go next year - great to see this played in July so weather should be fab!

Couldn't afford it this year but plenty of time now to save up and go for an extended weekend.

Great place Perpignan with Canet and Collioure nearby for day trips. Can't wait!

What is the best way to get there? We are looking at flying from Leeds or Manc into Barca. Train looks complicated so was thinking about hiring a car?

Fly to Girona then go by train to Perpignan. Dead straightforward with lots of trains and it only takes about 50 minutes.
We flew from Manchester on the Thursday night, had a great (late) night in Girona, train to Perpignan Friday AM, night on the razz in Perpignan then back to Girona for a couple of nights flying home Tuesday.

Hotel was slap-bang in Girona city centre and Ibis (or one of them) is about 800 yds from Perpignan station down the road facing then left at the end.

There's a Real Ale bar in Girona with lots of bottled Catalan beer and four or five on draught.
