Over the years there have been some great players who have worn the Claret and Gold but in my opinion one of the best has been David Faiumu. He has constantly given 100% both on and off the field and will be sorely missed. Not only a great player but a gentleman of the greatest game in the world.I believe all the Giants supporters will join with me in wishing David all the very best and hope that in whatever he decides to do he will remember the town of Huddersfield and supporters of the Giants and take with him the very best wishes and thanks of us all.

Good luck to Fooey, he's been a star for us in his time here and he certainly won't be forgotten in a hurry by the fans. Thanks for some great performances and lasting memories of a sidestep/dummy that left some very good players stood standing, amazed, and grasping at thin air as he went past them He can leave the club with his head held high in the knowledge that he was somewhat of a unsung hero and a fans favourite who was Mr Consistant, always gave his best and never shirked a challenge whilst wearing the Claret and Gold. Because he was so good, a lot of the things he did went under the radar because of his consistant, high class performances week in week out, I think at times we just took his undoubted talent and effort for granted. Played where he was picked, never moaned and groaned about it and just got on with it effortlessly. Well done Fooey and thanks, you've been a true Giant in your time with us and certainly one of my favourites. You'll be forever a true "Fartowner"
