Quote: meast "so could catalans!
in all seriousness though, some people are saying we have a chance to put it right next week etc but how much damage did that do last night?
im sure we all got season ticket packs through the post this week and im pretty sure some non regular fans would have got them too, so what better way to sell the club than a good performance in the biggest game of the season so far away at the current champions and biggest name in rugby league, there were probably hundreds, possibly thousands of potential fans watching at home, in pubs and clubs who just might be tempted to give us a go next year and we serve that up, how many people decided they weren't gonna bother after 9.30 last night?
another angle is had we won last night, we would have had 2 weeks to really push the semi final, 80 minutes away from a grand final, at home with a good chance..we could have really gone to town ( so to speak) promoting the game across kirklees to get a bumper crowd in.
and yet we are now looking at a few thousands die hards plus a potential big away support.
big big chance missed i feel!'"
Always seems to be the same though.
Season ticket announcements made and we put in a dire performance- has happened at least the previous two years also!
