Couldn't agree more watching it again on sky+ after getting home from the match. He scores them, he kicks them and looks like he's played SL for years. Hope his contract is air tight don't want to loose him.
For the record I'm thinking Murphy is going to be very hard to justify shifting from full back, I'm a fan of Grix and his organisation of our defence goes un-noticed, Murphy did as good a job and for that tackle on Turner alone was worth keeping his spot
Question is Connor? On the wing for Broughton? Or keep Broughton for his pace and specialist experience as a winger against very good opposition?
Quote: the stella kid "Was thinking with his skill and peer and I think he will get even stronger. Maybe his best position long term will be loose forward.'"
good call stella - certainly big enough, his defence would need to be top drawer though.
I think the experience of playing a number of different positions in Super League will benefit him no end. However, one fear is that his ability to play so many different positions may prove a hinderance in the long term if he gets tagged with the 'utility player' reputation (so far we have full back, winger, centre, playing in the halves and now loose forward).
I don't think now, or possibly even next season, is the time for him to nail down a particular position but at some stage they are going to need to identify his long term role.
