Quote: Durham Giant "The club is on a hiding to nothing in respect of this.
Fans are not going to buy season tickets for Sundays because hardly any games are played on sundays.
They may as well move to Friday nights and try to change their marketing strategy.
Otherwise they stick with sundays and just watch the fans drift away.
I did not get a ST this year because games are now played on 5 different days. I will not get a ST again.
Regardless of when the club want them to play SKY call the tune.
There is no point the club consulting with the fans it is irrelevant.
They should have just canvassed Sky management because it is SKY who will determine when we play.
Bring on Fridays forget kids and families and start a new marketing strategy because they are losing fans left right and centre over night changes.
There is no point buying a ST.
They now need to look at flexible half season tickets or choose any 6 games or whatever.'"
I have got to agree with the 6 game option. That way I will get to some games at a cheaper rate. A full season pass has stopped being what I would want as game changes mean I can no longer get to all home games, and certainly not with my 4 year old grandson.
