In order to analyse the rise of the Giants one only has to look back at the top teams of the last few years.

Saints heydays Cunningham, Sculthorpe, Long etc etc, Leeds, Sinfield McGuire Peacock etc etc same for Wire same for the best Wigan teams a few changes but in general 75% of the team there season on season.

We are getting somewhere near that Brough, Cudjoe, Eorl, Lunt Faiumu etc etc a solid spine and base for a successful team.

For all the other teams in the league success is rarely bought its built and whatever anyone wants to say about Huddersfield Giants our hoped for success in a fortnight has been built slowly but sustainably.

We will probably finish lower next season but well in the mix without fear of relegation which is a credit to the management at the club who are often maligned but do some Stirling work.

We also have a steady flow of academy lads to the first team, although we still have some way to go to match Leeds, Saints, Wigan in this area, but it is all going in the right direction. Now all we need is to get a big crowd in for the final home game of the season to (FINGERS CROSSED) see history in the making then get plenty of fans to buy season tickets for the following year.

indeed and a good run of not getting many injuries which we have had all season goes a long way too.
