The player in question is Belgian. He doesn't need a work permit or visa as he's an EU citizen. His actions are irrelevant.

Ah, somehow I thought he was Brazilian, do not agree his act was irrelevant though, found it sickening that the comms were justifying his action as frustrating. If a Bobby gave a kid a clip around the ear they would be sacked, without question. What is different here?
accept the Work Permit is not an issue due to being an EU citizen, but the kick was an adult bullying a child, anyone justifying that is a disgrace

Now Im not condoning a footballer kicking anyone but - the "ball boy" was 17 years old and ought to know better. "children" his age are currently doing tours of Afghan. I suspect his attitude will land him a few more kickings before he reaches old age. |
