Hi All,

I know this is a rugby league forum and myself am a huge Cas Fan and come from a decent background in Rugby League myself. Iv recently become head coach at our Castleford Rugby Union under 15's side. We today beat Cleckheaton in the quarter finals of the cup to progress and we are really urging new players to come down. We have big sides in the competition with typical Rugby Union backgrounds and us Cas folk are a different breed! If you have a son who may be interested or a grandson, newphew, kid next door or anyone please could you back our cause.

While we are on the subject of RU,noticed t'other day that Huddersfield RUFC have had a massive fall from grace.From being top end of league 1 north last winter,and challenging for promotion to quite a high level of RU,this year they are bottom having won just 1 game out of 12 or something similar.Wonder what went wrong there.

Never took any notice of them whatsoever until last year when I overheard some blokes talking about that club in the pub.

on the other union team YMCA they are going very well, think they are top, albeit in the division below... of two below...not sure!

YMCA are at least three divisons below Huddersfield.
