Why was the crowd so poor? I'm sure it's not the fault of the local fans, I can well imagine it's been under advertised and having it mid-week won't encourage people to come out, but for those of you up there, has the game been given any profile locally?'"
Did you realise how brough was utilised in that game? Erm that's right he wasn't- brough should be in the centre of the field where he can dictate play and utilise his kicking game- the ball barely passed through his hands. Madness of Macca to stick him out wide.
Of course the only wire players who had a good game were those in exiles shirts. Atkins scored a try yes- but defensively ......Cudjoe was miles ahead of him in terms of performance tonight.

| thought mcnamara coaching was useless yet again all the play seemed to go through smith who wasnt up to it, brough wasnt involved enough due to this poor game plan , smith, atkins in defence was a nightmare too, was behind the exiles concept and went last night but england lacked passion in my eyes, best 2 players on field for me were bodgy and menzies.

agree the left hand side defence was very poor, monaghan had a field day and so did menzies
cudjoe had a good game.
i went too, the game lacked passion like you say, it was abit like a training game and players not wanting to get injured....bring back the biff!!!!! thats what this needs...only player trying biff was lauki (but he always does...)

| Crabtree and Carvell were excellent
Brough, Roby and Burrow were below par but should be in the team
Cudjoe worked hard in a solid display, as did Charnley
Ratchford was good
The rest were garbage

| Quote: Tjhooker "Stick to the day job, england were very poor. How many will be in next years world cup squad? Well the answer is not many!
Once widdop, burgess, graham, tomkins, reed, hock, westwood, olockers a
re added the team will improve, scared for the game with the rfl youth development plans though. Cut the overeseas players, promote the youth structure/ pathway, develop english coaches not fast tracking & shake up the rfl from to to bottom!!!
We are light years behind the ozzie game
Spot on can't argue with any of that.
