| Will be interesting too see what level they are pitched up and even more so what the take up will be.
Bradford has been cited as an example but at the end of the day when they needed cash they had 11,000 odd fans (whose deatails they had at hand) they could go to to try and raise funds and perhaps if they had more traditional season ticket prices and levels of sales they would have been looking at half that and might not have raised enough to still be going today.
The club need to generate more income for sure but if they will ever be in a position to do so be it through £50, £150 or £250 season ticket prices has to be a mute point and with things like Monday night games coming into the equation people might think twice about getting a season ticket and enticing them to most games without having their place pre-paid will be no easy feat.

| As long as we keep the class players we have and add a couple of stars with the Brown/Gilmour cap money then would be happy to pay £180-£200 as long as the kids tickets stay at around £35.
What I wouldn't be happy with is that if after all us loyal ones have got our season tickets the club started doing all these offers for games such as £10 a pop etc.
Need to win some silverware and may hang onto some of the newbies even with a price rise.

yes remember that happening before... the loyal ones shell out then the floaters get all the special offers later in the season!

| The debate on season tickets needs to take in the reality for most fans who aren't die hards, but who are weighing up in hard economic times whether they should renew, and what else they could do with the money.
They will probably be thinking, of the 13 home fixtures -
2 will be missed due to holiday / other commitments
2 will be televised, and these will be attractive fixtures
2 will be of a "no contest" nature, against bottom of the table opposition
I assume that our "average" supporter is flexible and can attend games on a Friday / Sat / Sun / Monday !
The "remaining" 7 games, can be bought for £18 each on a game-by-game basis. Total cost £126 !!!
So what price a season ticket ? I reckon £140 is probably about as far as it can be pushed, and above that, attrition of those who bought for the first time at £99 will start to kick in hard. Maybe the club have already factored all this into their thinking and are prepared to accept this. It will be interesting to see how this develops and how the deals are structured.

| Will next season's ticket include a CC game, unlike this year, if so then that price may well be nearer £180-190. That's 10 games at £18 plus the cup game, allowing a discount of 3 games, which is a fair price in my book.
Quite a few people will miss a couple of games due to various reasons and this still gives a bit of a discount on the pay per game option.
