lunt is a class player and when i saw him play he changed the game

brown needs to rethink his tactics for next year and honor us without ing off the crowd and our best players

Rethink his tactics for who exactly ?, he will be at saints next season so he can do what he wants.

Yeah mate some folk on here have very short memories indeed. Remember back in Round 1 at the DW when we all thought we were going to get battered? When Lunty came on he was getting behind the pies defensive line for fun, tackled like hell & was very unlucky not to score (just lost his footing with the line begging).

He has played well this season when selected, provided plenty of go forward & scored as well.

Yep that Lunt lad is rubbish...let's get shot as soon as & trade in for someone who can't even cut it in a newly-promoted side. Sweet.

Clearly, Nathan Brown is going for more of an extra half-back type of player at hooker than an old school version - Robinson, Lee, Moore - but if that plan isn't working, then someone like Lunt is invaluable. I suppose Faiumu could be the man tasked with offering that different dimension if and when required, but it's clear that Lunt just isn't the type of player Brown wants at dummy-half.

If any coach in super league knows what to do with a hooker it is Brown. I will make my mind up when Moore has played a few games for us.

Lunt always seemed to be a bit exposed defensively in the big games, i dont know why but the play off game vs Leeds seems to stick in my head. If Moore can cut out the penalties and sort his off field problems he should go well. Plus with Fairbank signing up i would much rather see us keep our strength with good quality youngsters tied down, inc Walker & Eden, rather than a class fourth option hooker that would be demanding 70/80k.

Thats an awful picture..........one of my favourite players in the last 5 years and seeing him in a L***s shirt when he cant get in our team is a real shame.................good luck Lunty !!
