Whilst i like the look of that team in an attacking sense i worry about it defensively.
Last season we played LOD at 13 to give us some extra oomph in the pack, very strong and great tackler.
KB is brave but he is no defensive titan and some of Grixys defence could be described as powder puff.
Behind a smaller mobile pack i worry about our ability to defend against bigger teams.
Brough, Brown, Grix and robbo will be targetted by big forwards .If you are knackered by your defensive duties your attack is bound to suffer.
If Chan is taking one second row to attack out wide that leaves us with one second row to provide strength and defence along with two props. Which at the begining of the season will be Mason, Tonks and Walker. When Eorl, Faalogo and LOD are back it will be different
Who will be the fourth prop Patrick or Fooey
You would expect Brown to be playing the 80 mins ala Sinfield i could see them playing a very similar role.
Where does that leave fooey as he was best at loose. If he is hooking then he will be interchange to Robbo. If so where does Lunt play.
I just cannot get my head around the squad at the minute or the likely positions.
Loads of pace, plenty of guile and as NB says a very mobile pack and attack. I just wonder about defence
