we won 4 out of our last 13 games our pack was very poor in last 15 games . we have lost one our best props and signed players from wakey who are no better than players that we let go . top 10 maybe

What people need to remember is some of the players we have will improve, when you think of Wardle, McGilvary (only 1 full SL season), Leroy, Bruno, Ferguson, to mention a few and some of the new signings.

Whilst good players, the likes of Hodgson, Raleigh, Horne I don't think will, maybe deteriorate - so bar a top notch prop to cover for Griff I think we are better not worse going into 2012.

I tend to agree with you Birkby, we had too many second rows, albeit they were all generally decent, three out Chan in plus Malloy looks very promising, albeit Fa'alogo may be pushed to Prop.
We have strengthened in the backs Hodgy out Murphy & George in - ignoring the young ones.
Lee is a project, so was Wood.
Where we have gone back is Tonks for Griff. Tonks for Horne say and a proven prop for Griff and I would be a lot happier.
There is a lot said about reduced interchanges and until we see that impact I for one don't know. There was also a lot of rumours over disquiet about Paul Watson's conditioning regime - we certainly didn't peak at the Business end of the season.
One thing is for sure, we still have a lot of ability in the squad, the real key for me is likely to be attitude & commitment. Get that right and we will have a good season, wrong and we are Catalans from two years ago - bags of potential but distinctly average.
I think that is down to NB.

yeah, we knew what we were getting with him, old school training, he had trained aussie sides to premierships and trained the national team. However as things didn't work out, he was treated in a manner no one should be treated, and completly destroyed and pulled apart in public. This is a guy who's only mates in the country are those in the club. some people should be ashamed. But at least it shows it's not just the players who are handled poorly. Constsiant, i'll give him that. All that had to be said was that the club is going in another direction next year, thanks for your efforts. i was fuming when i heard how he had been treated.

when is the reduced interchanges coming in?? this could be the reasoning why we arent in the market for more props and changing our tactics with this new rule in mind
