Quote: brook40 "Yes the ref was poor, but in all seriousness you can drop any ref into that game tonight and the score would be the same,Wire were dominant in all areas and Hudds could of played till midnight and not scored. The ref isnt the issue here,it lies with the team and the coach and they need to look at fixing it.'"
NO SHIT SHERLOCK!
Before everyone starts saying 'knee jerk reaction' I am really beginning to think that Nathan Brown has possibly taken us as far as he can with the players at his disposal. I am just wondering what excuse will come out this week. That performance was unacceptable and an insult to our finishing position on the ladder, no other team that finished 4th would have lost by that margin tonight.
No sour grapes at all Wire were decent but we made them look like world beaters. It was like the bad old days last night in the early days of Super League when that scoreline was a weekly event for the Claret and Gold. The players need to have a long hard look at themselves - we look a spent force this season.
Danny Brough for example looks a shadow of the player he did before his injury - just an observation.
Just not good enough at the end of the day but expect some sort of response next week.
I am not going to give Ganson much space on here but he is a complete HOYSER always has been. Not blaming him at all but when will the RFL realise that the game is about the two teams and not him. Consistently inconsistent. A BAD NIGHT ALL ROUND.
