Cheers. Spent two days wondering if I should bother and where to put it when we got there but I should have known some of you would be there to help. We don't have many fans but the ones we do have are priceless.

I'm 34 years old. I've been watching Wire for 24 years.
Over the years, I've seen some awful players (won't mention any names), some awful performances (80-0 against Saints).
I've also seen some of the greatest players to have ever played the game (Langer, Davies, Morley). I've seen heartbreaking last minute defeats and memorable last minute wins.
I've been close to tears on many occasions, out of frustation and of happiness.
This great game has given me some of the greatest memories of my life.

Tonight was one of those nights I'll never forget. I doubt I'll always remember the score, or what round of the play-offs it was, or even what year it was, but I will always remember the day that those Huddersfield fans stayed behind to hold up that flag with WELL DONE WIRE.

There was something very, very special about seeing that flag tonight. The sort of thing I'll tell my kids about in years to come over a pint in the pub.

Thank you so much for giving me another truly great memory.
