Yeah when I was 18 I never missed a game, and we were in the 3rd division then too, not the heady heights of superleague.

I'd have dreamed of summer weakends in the south of France, all I got were blizzards in Batley...

My point is that the excuses use are rubbish and lets face it none of those fans come on here. People read too much into the slightest things you say on here.

Due to uni work and living away this (along with the wire game) was my second game this season! but will be able to attend most weeks from now so an extra 1 can be added to our average attendance!!

That's a rubbish excuse. If he were a real fan he would've made sure he was there.

I remember the guy on the car park trying to charge us as well. Obvious we wouldn't play.the weather got worse and worse as we got further north.
We were under the impression that Alex Murphy got off the bus ,dug his heels into the pitch, and said we're not playing on that,stay on the bus lads.
A long way to go for a couple of pints and a bag of chips.
