| First of all, as a Wire fan, no problem in saying that we were out played, enthused and out fought. Well done to the Giants who fully deserved the win and will be in with a shout of winning SL and the CC this year - an excellent squad with some real talent.
Secondly, a couple of observations:
Morley's tackle on McGillivary was identical to how he hit Harrison Hansen in the home game v Wigan last season which was regarded as one of the hits of the year. I didn't think it was a penalty;
There were a few silly comments earlier about Rhys Evans. I've watched the game since the early 80's and from a Wire perspective Rhys is one of the top 3 talents I have ever seen at the club at his age - the others being Sculthorpe and Iestyn Harris. Rhys is however a centre, not a winger. His best games this season were playing in that position.
Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season. You never know, we might have a rematch at Old Trafford to look forward to.

| A good post, though I respectfully disagree regarding Morley's tackle. If the tackle was identical to the one on Harrison Hansen then it should also have been penalised as the initial contact on Jerry was to the head, it doesn't matter if he is ducking, diving, slipping or sliding you have to ensure you contact below head height and Morley didn't.
I personally can't remember the Morley hit on Hansen so can't comment, can only go by what you said of it being identical.
Good luck for the rest of the season to you guys aswell.

| As a neutral watching this game Wolves were out played in every department. Even some of the rough stuff didn't work from Warrington, Huddersfield just took it on the chin and got on with it. Brough again was probably the difference with Help from Robbo moving the Giants around the park which was something that Warrington were unable to do without Briers. The tackle from Morley was disgraceful he will probably get at least 1 match as he's already on the RFL's repeat offenders list.

No charge
Player makes legitimate attempt to tackle, does not use swinging arm, opponent falling into tackle, contact shoulder with face of opponent, player bent into contact with opponent, penalty sufficient, not misconduct.

| I think it's a fair outcome TBH. Bit careless maybe but no real malice IMO.

| RE:rhys evans i think some people misconstrued my original comment.
im not saying he isn't a talent because he wouldn't be playing in warrington's 1st team if he wasn't, i was just saying that IN MY OPINION based on the games i've seen him play,he has had ONE good game and hasn't done enough IMO to warrant the praises been showered on him.
as for morley, he has been there done it and mixed it with the big boys for years now and although a dirty git at times to call him a shirker is a bit harsh,yes the tackle on jerry was a bit naughty ( im sure he knew what he was doing) but again,i dont think he meant to cause injury

| Morley is a good professional. I wouldn't disagree with the notion he's getting a bit long in the tooth but anyone who calls him a shirker is FOS, frankly. Banter is one thing but there are one or two of our lot who make me cringe on when reading the oppo' forums. Pride comes before a fall and all that. It's easy to give it the big mister on rlfans.
