Have to agree with Grix MOM he showed his quality like he did in the last 3rd part of the season before leaving us. Fans were slagging him and Kear had patience but he came through in the end even though out of postition.

Brough - worst game I've seen him have for a while, though it's hard when your pack is second-best.

grix was out mom easily. people need to stop slagging off hodgson off because if you went to the game it was dark in that corner with no flood light so most people would of struggled.

have to go with the majority and say Grix, just didnt stop working throughout, Broughy lost it and went missing when you needed him

grix for me as well,never put a foot wrong and mcgilvaray can be proud of his performance, as for the rest, well it was an off day!
i thought 2 of our ex players,jacko and jones were immense for castleford.

MOTM had to be Grix provided his confidence doesn't get knocked from that awful video ref decision I think he will carry on to get another contract at full back as he is not only very well positioned defensively and carry the ball back strong but also comes into the 3/4 line well - exemplified on Saturday with his nice cut-out pass for our first score.

Other stand out players for the game were: McGilvary, Gilmour & Griffin.
