Why have the RFL given us a home match on Easter Monday and away on Good Friday when Town have the same fixtures thereby forcing us to play Salford on a Tuesday, don't they have the intelligence to check multi-use stadia before arranging these things?

Preliminary fixtures are issued three weeks prior to yesterday and clubs then have to sort out any changes. Not the RFLs fault. |

Why cant the club do a trip to catalan where we stay for one night. We stayed for 2 nights last year on our own back, and i dont want to go for 5 days like these tours do. Waste of time, so please Huddersfield Giants do a short trip!

You may get away playing the Cas one at the Galpharm, with the Cats and Crusaders games played at the Shay its a good 5or 6 weeks til the next home fixture depending on the Cup Draw |

Yes but it's a 7 o'clock kick off on a day when most people are at work. If I didn't have a car I wouldn't be able to make the kick off for that match and I'm sure there are other people who will be in the same boat. That coupled with the fact that First Huddersfield has cut a lot of buses in the early evenings, we don't have a bus from 4 until 7 now. I just think it's really poorly thought out. Also how many people are Salford going to bring at that time?
Our next match is away at Catalans on Saturday so the extra day we gain playing Salford, who play on Friday anyway so there is no gain, we lose by travelling to France on a shorter turn around against a side who play on the Monday so have one extra day of preperation anyway and have two consecutive home games so don't have any travel in between.. |
