Quote wishy="wishy"I'm only trying to point out that due to the importance of the game there maybe quite a few home supporters. Also a handful?? What do you call a handful? You maybe right and we may not take that many given the new time but then again you've opened up the North stand for a handful of Wakefield supporters!! You must pay your staff a lot more than ours as we would open the south stand for a 100 supporters. And I know for a fact we are taking at least a hundred as theres at least 3 coaches making the trip over also many of these will not have thought to get their tickets prior to going. Yeah not thousands like others but still impressive for us!! Me and my son are making our first trip to Wigan!'"
The ticket office will have arranged a section for the Huddersfield supporters in the East Stand, don't worry. If you are not happy with the seats, just wait until the game kicks off and sit in another unoccupied seat. Simple.
We base the predicition of how many away supporters will attend on reputation. To be fair to Wakefield, they have travelled in good numbers before hence the North stand was open this year. Unfortunately they brought less than expected this year and that will be taken into consideration next season.
I'd class a couple of hundred as a handful and tends to be the usual figure that Huddersfield bring every year. Considering the stand hold nearly 5000, a couple of hundred clearly doesn't warrent spending the money to operate the stand and the employees to man it. It would be a complete waste of money. Fustration of not having your own, designated stand and looking bad on TV should be directed towards your own supporters who don't bother to show up rather than Wigan as the club can't be blamed for not wishing to spend money for a pointless operation even if Huddersfield do theirselves.
I hope you enjoy your first trip to Wigan.
