heard a bigger whisper hes going to bulls, cant for the life in me understand why we are letting him go, one of our best defenders and a pretty good support player, i for one hopes the club changes their mind and offers him a extesion to his contract
I think Wild will be on a good salary and with the club already having an abundance of second rowers it may make financial sense. I can actually see another couple of second rowers joining him in departing the club.
He has though been a great player for the club. To say he is injury prone is a bit untrue. He has had a major knee operation in the off season and apart from one other spell on the sidelines in 2008 has hardly missed a match and eventually all players will pick up some kind of injury in such a physical sport.
2006 26 super league games
2007 27 super league games
2008 18 super league games
2009 26 super league games
2010 9 games so far
i would not say this is the record of an injury prone player.
Wild is again injured and is carrying persistent injuries with his wrist, knees and shoulder. It would be suicide by the club to keep him on a contract. Also very foolish of him to mention this and put it in the public eye as he has had no offers from other clubs to date.
