Ive known Stuart since I was a little girl and hes an amazing guy. Always sorting out the trips finding us cheap hotels so we didnt have to pay a fortune and chasing those who hadnt payed.. Got so many memories of him. Defintely hope there is a 1 minute silence for him.

Terrible news - Stuart was one of the 1st people i got to know of through following Fartown - a true club stalwart who did loads for this club especially through the darker days and a really nice guy too - he was a true character and i know in the late 80's when i was a nipper at fartown he always had time for a natter with us in the clubhouse.

A sad day not only for the Hudds Giants but for the amateur rugby league scene in the town also.

Really shocked to hear the news - when Wuzz and I got married back in the day we had a 'do' at the then Arena 84 and Big Stu organised it for us and then was the life and soul of the party dancing around wearing a Tina Turner wig! Great guy and a true Fartowner...RIP

Sincere condolances to Stuarts family, friends and fellow RL followers. The Giants have lost a true friend indeed, he never took a step back from helping the Giants in their aspirations of greater success and winning ways. The supporters, friends and players will certainly miss you Big Stuart.
The club should consider some sort of memorium to acknowledge this true "Fartown" supporter.

Im beyond stunned! known stuart for 20+ years, he was always the first person to offer help and the last to ask for it, top bloke who as PB has said will be missed not only by the fartown faithfull but rugby league at all levals he was Huddersfield through and through.

R.I.P stuart, my thoughts are with your family & many many friends.

I hope the giants are planning on remebering stuart at this weeks game. (never one to be somber so a minutes aplause would be in order i think)
