| The pitch is already in a bad way, but it'll be firm if a little soggy on friday. The town fans are already complaining that the RL will ruin it for saturday! it's already ruined thanks to the football players being allowed to train on it while their regular training pitch was snow and frost bound!
Having heard that the DG upper is open alongside the FM lower looks like a bumber crowd expected!!

You do realize I was talking about our fan and not you? Just to clarify
What's the weather been like today in Huddersfield? Is the pitch likely to be drenched on friday?'"
I was being serious - you two deserve recognition for having an adult conversation about rugby which is a rarity on here nowaday.

Well the same goes back to you then, there's a fair few on here that would rather just try and have a dig than a discussion. I've quite enjoyed the (sensible) banter with Flying Prop aswell this year, he seems to have suddenly become sensible!

| Well I was disappointed with our performance tonight, but not too worried.
You played well, and your defence was solid as a rock, and you will be a hard team to beat this season.
Is going in late on the kicker part of Brown's tactics though, as it was fairly bad tonight.
Fair play though, you stuck it out and gave an 80 minute performance, we only showed what we are capable of in a few small patches.

There was one or two borderline late tackles on the kicker, but I think that is all they were. I think the ref really helped keep you guys in it. Still Orford will be amazing for you guys, the bloke really has talent. Burgess could be a big loss as I felt even without Mason for most of the game our forwards were the better pack.

I think thats going a bit far with the ref, more decisions did go our way in the last 10, but two of your tries were dubious.
I hope you're right regarding Orford, wasn't the best tonight, but he'll improve.
Hopefully we'll improve when Sculthorpe's fit and when Kopzcak isn't carrying a minor injury, but you're right, Burgess will be a big loss.

| I was a bit disappointed with Ganson. We conceded some stupid penalties, sure, but I thought that Bradford were treated with more leniency. It has to go both ways and Ganson makes a rod for his own back at times trying to be the centre of attention.

| Indiscipline was the issue, hence the penalties. Ganson was pretty clear from the start that he wasn't going to let much go tonight. I don't know how the other games were refereed, but if that's a sign of things to come then we could expect a few stop-start games this year.
Defensively Giants were superb, we could do with learning a trick or two from watching that back in the post game analysis!

When Orford put the bomb up that Hodgson spilled ,the guy who challenged for it was about 5 yards offside ,not seen by Ganson surprise, that led to Gilmors sin binning and the Bulls try.Ithink the Bulls were lucky because with a different ref the Giants would have won by 30
