And twice giving away penalties on the 6th tackle for laying on? Ridiculous. Huddersfield's style got well and truly found out today.'"
KNOCK ON? if that was a knock on what was yours last try , HODGSON! that was a knock on my friend

| Was that David Hodgsons?
When he put that down I never thought it was a try till I saw it on the VR, then I knew it was for certain.
The only VR decision that was 100% wrong was our 2nd dissalowed.
99 times out of 100 that would be given.
If the VR wasnt there it would be given.

And Hudds 3rd try which never in a million years had a hand with downward pressure (albeit a consolation try). Swings & Roundabouts. Once again Bentham is from Leigh not Warrington'"
Monaghan had an almost identical 'try' (hand on the side of the ball and the ball 'pings' out as soon as it hit the ground) disallowed by the Video Ref at Knowsley Road last season.

Hold my hands up if he is but listed on t'internet as been from Warrington search on Google, even RLFans comes up with Phil Bentham of Warrington?

Sporting Life also feel we had a few dodgy decisions but as I have said in my previous posts the best team on the day won and we did not turn up, just feel the RFL have left themselves wide open yet again!!!!!

All the best for the rest of the season and Congratulations on a very good win.

| Yea that's it hat's off to the better team. I'm not bitter about the decisions, because we all know these things swing in roundabouts and who know's what decision may go our way in the playoffs. Also we didn't lose that game because of the the Ref or VR, we lost because we were below par and Wolves were superb.

| Sadly, someone always has to lose in a final. I'm just glad it was our teams who were there.
Most of the complaints about the Hudds fans seem to be coming from your own corner. If you consider the position your club was in just a decade a go, your second cup final in 3 years with over 10,000 attending each is certainly a fairly big feat.
As for the 2 decisions from Benthead.....I personally believe they were right. Momentum had stopped on the first and I've seen less clear obstructions given than the second one, although as has been said elsewhere, the rules on that need clearing up a bit.
King's no try was a correct one and the only major error I think made on the day was when Hicks knocked on as he felll to the floor while catching. I'd probably have different views had we not won and those decisions had gone against us though.
I think the event was an excellent advert for the sport and showed that you can have a high quality game without the need for the so called big clubs.
With Nathan Brown, you have a coach who can take you places and I personally believe that it's going to be the Brown, Smith and Morgan teams that are going to continue to break the big four monopoly in the next few years.
