| Quote Durham Giant="Durham Giant"The discount for introducing someone new is a great idea. I will be getting two new people there next season which means that our tickets will be £115 each as we will split the discount. So it is only a £35 rise which is great news. I am not sure about opening the end stand up as it may spread the support thinner in a big ground.'"
Would make more sense if the saving was actually set from the off. More encouragement for the new ticket holder to firstly get the ticket, and secondly allow you to be their 'referral'.

| I think they've gone up too much. My wife definately won't renew (baby Digger due soon) and given that I will miss 2 or 3 due to hols, clashes with Town games and Sky scheduling, I very much doubt I will either. I bet there are a good number of others in the same situation (missing a couple of games) to make it not worthwhile buying a season ticket. They could have sold it well if they'd gone up to a tenner a game (£130) but to go up to £180 is too much. Great offer this season and thanks very much but it does seem to be a waste to put them straight up so much.

| The prices for this season were always a one off so if you compare to 2008 then they have not increased.
A club cannot be financially viable in super league on the prices on offer this season.
If the club is prepared to invest in quality international players then the fans should be prepared to pay a bit extra.
I still would be prepared to bet it is the cheapest ticket in Super League next season.
And there is always the offer to sit behind the sticks.

| without trying to rip the club off if you and a mate renew but one of you is in theory the new new season ticket holder then you can still get a ticket for £115 each. One of you will need to register in a new address but that shouldn't be too difiicult to manage.

Not a fan of watching from behind the posts - not every week anyway - so I wouldn't fancy this. Just think that given it was such a success in getting new ST holders this season the jump back to more appropriate prices could have been more incremental to give more of a chance of keeping more of them. I think they have missed a bit of a trick but that's only my opinion. Like I say, they're two down from this household but I'll still be going when I can.

Would have been more appealing if it came with following for winter time.
1) Hat & Glove set
2) Umbrella

One option is to find someone new who may want a ST and split the difference. You get a ST for £115! There may be fans near where you sit - not ST holders- who may give it a go. Just a thought.
Hopefully many fans will 'join the sales team'
