Been to Cardiff but for another occasion and I can't really see where my young un would find owt as enjoyable as those hills and open spaces for him to play on!! Yes Edinburgh is cold although I've been many times before and have yet to have anything but glorious sunshine there!!
edinburgh for me enjoyed it much more than cardiff, also tried 2 years in cardiff to get a room never managed it had to stay in hereford, no problems in edinburgh got a room for £30 straight away.
Defo Cardiff - much more atmosphere with all fans milling around city centre before/after. Better stadium too - only issue was closed roof.
Would expect them to return to Cardiff in future but will prob also go to other major cities like Dublin. Would be very interesting to see this event go to a southern UK city also at some point.
