Video ref should have been consulted for offside. Don`t think the ref too bad but slightly against us and feel that he tried to bring Leeds back into game.

I watched a pack that got dominated by Catalan, Hull and couldn't get out of our own half against Saints in the first half. We weren't competitive in any of those games, and by competitive i mean that after 20 minutes the games were effectively over as a contest. You didn't notice that we can't make ground, damn even Terry o connor commented that we had no go forward at all and something has to be pretty blatant for him to notice.

I have to disagree Hangerman regarding the Saints game. It was only 6 nil until just before half time and when we pulled it back to 12 - 4 we were back in the game. Your point about lack of go forward is a fair one though, I'd like to see us move the ball wide a bit more on third or fourth tackle. Backs are starting to look dangerous when we give them chance to run with the ball.

Saints had two or three gears left in them if we had pressured them, we never got within a score, that to me is never in the game. None of those games were unlucky losses, or ones where we created chances but didn't execute, they were ones where we were pinned back and couldn't create enough ruck speed or tackle busts to get into good positions. Having watched us so far, we have a pack thats good at defence, but poor going forward. I said before the signings we have made have not complemented what we had, we already have a defensive workhorse in Lawrence (who is literlly 0 threat in attack) so why sign another one in Yates? I like our back line a lot, but we don't have the forwards to set a platform against the better teams, can see that already.
