If they want to talk about the huge error count from both sides, I'm happy to talk about that, I have also posted on the anderson thread about how it seems a slight over reaction to be calling for the head coaches head, this early on.

I'm far from a troll. We've just had a game, it tends to follow that Saints and Giants posters would engage in debate on each others forums.

By all means lets talk about the lack of cutting edge from both sides or the tremedous defensive displays on show.

But if it's a topic on the ref and the penalty count then it's surely as free for debate.

James Child is a poor referee. I genuinely don't think it was anything to do with him we lost the game - don't drop the ball and stop repeating the same attacking move that didn't work the first 6 times - but he just ruins every game he referees. How can you attract new fans to the game and keep the ones we've got as a game when the referees continually spoil the spectacle? It's the area of Rugby League that needs the most attention.

i did a topic a few seasons ago about when we get bentham and child as ref, on games won/lost when these were in charge of us, not sure what the stats are now but cant be great
