Centres... Cudjoe + Wardle. George can also move into centre if needed
Scrum Half... Scott Grix or New signing. Or even robbo
Props... Fielden + Crabtree. Taii and Mason on bench
Hookers... Lunt. On the bench Robbo
Second Row...Mullally + LOD/Patrick
Loose Forward... Faiumu
It says on the website that gris can play hooker? how would that go?

I think Ferres will be our first choice loose forward with Faiumu playing at hooker interchanging with Lunt. Robbo playing half back unless a half back is brought in.

Wonder how much money we got for Broughy?

Broughs place in the squad goes without saying.

Times must be hard if they are playing two props on the second row.

So as well as Brough they have been forced to sell Lawrence,Chan,Ferres,Ferguson and Fairbank.

bit early to be making team selections yet, bit more wheeling and dealing to go..

ive thought about that combination too...to be honest if no new half back is brought in then i think its the best way for us to go !

well we all know it will be broughy. and mullally can play 2nd row.

I'm not sure what Luke George has done wrong, personally I think he is our fastest out and out winger.

For me I would go with:-

Crabtree Lunt Fielden

Robinson
Mason
Ta'ai
Faiumu

The main problem I see next season, initially, is trying to give everyone game time. I believe the above to be a competitive team, yet I'm struggling to fit Lawrence, Ferguson, Mullally & Patrick in.

Paul Anderson appears to have a built a squad which can compete, but with plenty of back-ups and competition for places (something I feel we really lacked last season). Being able to rotate forwards, particularly props, will be a massive advantage as the season goes on.

I feel more confident going into next season than I did the last, a lot of people on here had fears about our lightweight pack, which unfortunately were eventually realised.

On a secondary note, does anybody know when the fixtures will be released for next season? I am still in a bit of a quandary as to whether I should purchase a season ticket or pay on the gate.
