Well don Leigh on coming through what was in reality a bench mark test today. To come from behind was a real test of character and proof that you are a team in contention for super league.

The problem I foresee is you may become victims of your own success. Paul Rowley's name is constantly being banded about in super league circles and once a pattern starts to form in SL and coaches heads start to fall is when I fear he will be the target of SL clubs. His heart may well be with Leigh but as a coach he will secretly desire to prove himself at the highest level. I hope his aims are to do that with Leigh but if Leigh fail to gain promotion he may well succumb to SL offers in the future.

Once again well done today; you may now have second helpings of Lobby with your beer to celebrate.

Rowls is here for the long haul.

Paul's a big leyther and like the lads who play here he won't be going anywhere. There's next to no chance of him leaving

Well if was to happen it would need to be one of Wire, Wigan, Leeds, St Helens and all their coaches seem pretty secure. Why bother with clubs like Wakefield, Salford, Castleford, Widnes etc.? Hardly a step forward!

I fully expect someone to make an offer for Rowley this year. However the way Leigh (his home town club that's he's built up from the brink of liquidation) are going a bottom 1/2 SL club would be a sideways move for him really. Still don't think he's got the experience for one of the top SL clubs to come for him, nor do I see any of them needing a new coach any time soon. Don't think it'll be a problem.

I have witnessed Paul Rowley practically in tears of passion for Leigh RLFC, Paul is from Leigh, played for Leigh & is Leigh.

Unlike previous Leigh Coaches, I firmly believe Rowls will be faithful to Leigh & give 200% to the Club, day after day, hour by hour.

Time to give Paul his due, he has grown, the team has grown, the fans have grown with him & the Club grows because of that.

I do think it's only a matter of time until Leystin Harris gets the sack though and then Koukash will have a big strop about neither Rowley nor Brierly wanting to take a backwards step and leave Leigh. He'll probably end up signing someone else rubbish with no coaching experience again instead.

I think PR will want to at least give a year or two of trying to get in to SL with Leigh before any thoughts of going elsewhere.
