How good is that Roosters defence? Too quick for Wigan to do anything. The frightening thing is they are still in pre-season!

I'm not gloating at Wigan loosing because I look at it as England vs Australia. I remember years ago Widnes coming back from that sort of deficit. Come in the Pies. I know there is still an anti Wigan feeling in my heart but something changed that the other day. While driving into Pie land from the other side there are signs saying "welcome to Wigan borough. Home of the champions. Wigan Athletic, Wigan warriors & Leigh Centurions.

Agree Tony because most Wigan fans I have met are always good company. That sign however has the team names in the wrong order imo.

There's now't wrong with the wigin fans Frank ( and a fair few even know about Rugby) but they have been the big fish in a small pond for ages and their fans have been far from magnanimous to other "lesser" teams and their fans in the past.
I for one think it's about time they had a bite of their Humble Pie again.
Im sure the English media will be singing their praises for them again come the end of the season though

Have to agree Keith Smith in particular had a radar to find Minnichello with every kick.

I said on twitter before the game a 20 point win for Sydney and Wigans weak link would be the two starting props and Matty Bowen who looks unfit and way way off the pace.

The two Welsh lads are no better than Spenner in fact not in same class as him for my money.

Flower did ok by the way as it happened.

Sad to see Matt Bowen today. This coming season could tarnish a glittering career. If I were him I would conveniently miss the flight back to the UK.

Thought Wigan restored some pride second half and will learn a lot from that defeat.

Bowen I believe was signed for his experience and needs to be a leader but the young kids like Burgess stood up and looked liked seasoned pros while he struggled.

Personally Keith I think that McLorum brings nothing to that team and I would not have had him in the England squad. If I was his coach he would be fined heavily for the ridiculous penalties that he gives away until he learns. Agree with Wigans kicking game it was poor but some of the Rooster tries came from lucky breaks which could have gone either way. The one where Bowen fumbled over the line I would have said was knocked on by the Roosters player. In the slow mo the ball rotation increases which to me says it was touched and you could clearly see the player make an attempt at it. Ah well back to the drawing board Pies.

in every game I watch against English sides and aussie sides its men against boys.
this is ayoung wigan side and not played much game time together,but today they were poor at times to many mistakes and missed tackles,kicking was very poor ,nothing like wigan of old when they beat bris broncos.
