He's Tweeted me to say it was his first and last tackle of the season. Was a great hit and really well-timed. No dobubt at all that it was a try saver.

Riddys was a beauty, and fair play to him making sure the Barrow lad was okay. Great, tough, fair hit and then good sportsmanship afterwards, unlike the soccerbabies yesterday.

I have to say from what I have heard from todays game and what I have seen of Martyn this year I would think that he is on his way to becoming a Leigh legend. Was listening to his interview wth DP on Leigh Life before todays game and I had a big grin on my face listening to the darts stories. The club really does sound like a familly. Love it. One more thing Dave and Dereks commentary and the whole Leigh Life radio thing is nothing short of fantastic.

Was a hell of a tackle to be sure, but you can't judge tackle of the season until Jimmy Taylor takes the field. Jimmy's shot on Sam Barlow against Sheffield a few years ago was the best tackle i've ever seen live.

Thanks very much for that we really appreciate it and I think you're right, the club really is becoming like one big family. I feel a great buzz around the place, the team is fantastic, new things are happening every week and everyone is working hard to re-engage fans, old and new.

I predict a great future for the club - we just need those fans on the terraces.

Manning on Fozzard yesterday was pretty good. He took some right hammer yesterday but seemed to enjoy it.
