Havnt you been on here for a while? We have started to offer contracts to players and are very close to announcing our new coach...I would say we are doing ok without an investor. Tommy G signing on is a big boost

well as he was going to retire anyway cant see how this news prompts you to not go again

It's not all doom and gloom "dezyis21," we'll have a team next year and a coach so stop panicing. You can't just give up on your team and say "whats the point," you need to support the team through thick and thin, especially now when we are short on cash!!! So stop being depressed and get down next year

Didnt think we needed him back im the first place,i think morty should have been given more time and johnny pownall should of been given more game time.

When Tommy signed, the other few to sign were Taylor, Duffy, Riddy and Maido.......so we have a real backbone to the squad.......Personally I Dont blame the lads who moved on.......but cant wait to cheer the loyal players on and welcome in the new lads......Including the coach WHOEVER he may be!

Jimmy and Tommy were the best back row i that division last season and its great the will be there again knockin the stuffing out of whoever is put in front of them!!

Agree on all counts. Donlan did play some good stuff while he was here, no question about that, but at that time, with good backup in Morty & Pownall developing, I would have persevered with them and spent the money on a different position myself.

And speaking of FB's coming through - whatever happened to Dollin? Wasn't he supposed to be the next one after Morty?

Stus a nice bloke , i helped with his Testimonial, but cant say im to bothered about him leaving , the lad could barely walk after games last season ,so thanks Stu , but life goes on ,Leigh Centurions will survive and in time Prosper again , i think Pownall, or who ever gets the Full Back shirt next season , will get my support ,LONG LIVE LEIGH CENTURIONS .

No I've not been here for a while because to be quite honest my love for the game is dying because of the RFL are ruining the game!!

We are nothing but a feeder club for Super League....FACT!! Proof with all our best players being taken by SL clubs. I don't blame the players they have to do whats right for themselves as it is their career but the club must of known we were in a mess for a while, so why not start fund raising earlier last season and put a plan in place instead of putting all our eggs in one basket trying to get to the Grand Final!?

Look at the debate in football now....They will NEVER get rid of promotion and relegation as it means too much too clubs in lower leagues, at least they have the hope of maybe one day getting in the top league!

What chance do we have now seeing as within a 10 mile radius already there are W!gan, Saints, Warrington, W!dnes, Salford!! There is no room for, as they class us, little Leigh!!

Theres only one answer to your last post Dezy, as you can see we have all been here before some here longer than others , but we are all searching for the same reason to carry on ,you however must be strong and must find another goal to reach or you will become very unsettled in your approach with what youv say , i feel you could easily achieve this by going to the other sideand furthermore , be happy.
