I thought Richard had a good game again last night ,and was impressed with him against us last Sunday ,i spoke to him on Wednesday morning ,and he still hasnt been offered a Contract with the mutants for next season .

I feel as we are losing Chris Hill ,and maybe Bibey , would he make a good replacement?

Last night at the Halifax game, the fans were singing,"Sign him up!"

He was back in his school days and his last few prop performances have shown that he definately has the bottle to be a good front rower, well worth a punt if the smogs don't offer that contract!

Well imo he is a centre although he is a big lad and has moved up to prop this season.

I also think Tyrer from Widnes should be on our list.

All those three in our team I would be happy with. Those with our coaching staff and current team would be excellent.

Could be he doesnt fancy being hammered every week, or he could have a decent job with a pension that he wants to keep. Either way he is better than most of the current squad they have already signed. Suppose his swansong in later life will be "i'm on a fixed income"!

Yes he did Alan and didn't last long playing there either, which says volumes.

I can't understand why he hasn't signed yet? I'm guessing it's something to do with his day job. He must not want to quit it as it might pay more.

Varks has not been offered a contract for next season , nothing to do with his day job, he is a Personal Trainer at Total Fitness in Wigan .
As a friend of Varks i suppose im biased, but hes a good season for the Mutants , is very fit , is no slouch for speed , scores tries , could easily do a good job for us , for me id sign him for next season , along with another guy who trains at the Gym , Bob Beswick , this guy can take over from Robbie he is only 26 years old , these two lads would make a good addition to our squad ,i also agree about Tyrer .
