Obviously I wasn't at the game today and disappointed not to get the win BUT:

I am happy with the bonus point in the circumstances.
Gateshead knew they HAD to win that game, realistically, to stay up - we knew we have 2 more chances.
We had no decent half-backs
We were playing away at Gateshead.
Their team now is far better than their league position suggests.
We hopefully need to lose the final two matches by less than 12 points and that would be enough...assuming batley lose heavily in their final game
I would rather be us than Batley right now..
Hopefully Watson will be back for the last 2 games.
Halifax may have given up on the title by the time they play us and will be guaranteed a playoff spot....may influence...

Well done to the the travelling support who probably helped earn a valuable point.

Not at the Game too but proud of the crowds singing and passion i heard over the radio on several ocassions. We need to get at least 1 bonus point over the next 2 games as im sure Gateshead will pick up the win at Doncaster. Just hope that Barrow can put a cricket score past them on Bank Holiday Monday.
Too say that this league isnt exciting is a massive understatement but i would rather be in a comfy position but fingers crossed we can stay up.

I think your in trouble now to be honest. Fax will go to Leigh wanting to get back on track and then i just can't see you beating Haven.. This then with gateshead having Donny will take them above you unfortunately.

Batley are the team on dodgy ground with only having 1 game left and I think its away at Barrow or Fev........ cant see em getting a point out of it TBH.

Fax looked vey dodgy at Batley on thursday and Haven were thrashed by the Mutants.........Simples 6 pts....

Batley were good against us, fancy them for a bonus point at Fev.

I think Haven have struggled badly the past few weeks and their effort in the first half against us was a freak ...... we decided to play in the second and should have won. And remember, Haven could esaily have lost at Donny a few weeks back.

I reckon we'll dig out a bruiser on Monday, but Leigh will do Haven.
