Congrats to both teams.

Leigh Miners had to tough it out on a narrow pitch against a strong set of forwards, they showed the attitude that has made them minor champions this year and left them still unbeaten. These lads deserve every accolade and I think it speaks lots about the talent in Leigh when we have a all Leigh final in the under 18 National cup. I dont know the politics about the centurions having a under 18's team, but there is so many lads available it seems strange??
Monday 4th May is the final at the willows, it will be a cracking game and best of luck to both teams, I think the big pitch and firm conditions will be to the miners advantage as well as the big game experience many of them have with last years grand final, this year they have matched every set of forwards they have played but outplayed many of the backs. But Leigh East definatley gave them something to think about last time they played but I think Easts poor discipline will cost them in the final. I hope lots go watching this game, trust me it will have more passion and commitment than you will see on any terrace all season

the politics will be like they have for the last umpteen years the miners will steer as many as possible away from Leigh Centurions.

As for lots going watching its at the worst ground it could be, why bl***Y Salford and also Leigh are away to Batley that day, it should be played on Sat at the LSV . Why should two Leigh teams play in Salford

Im going to watch my son play anyway, mr know it all,I was thinking in terms of neutrals who would watch if Leigh werent playing.
Dont you think it would score a few brownie points for the LSV if they allowed this. Sat or Sun this game at LSV will attract more speccies than that dodgy place,. All the cars and coaches will end up with no wheels on them there.

I don't know, I was going off her moaning about it being a bad date as Leigh are playing Batley on the same day.

I'll be on my way back from London that day but I hope it'll be a well contested final.

Thers are two other finals on the day the 14,s and 16,s.
Obviously im not a neutral but given leigh at Batley and a cracking derby for a national title i know where I will be going.

And as for the Miners steering lads away from Leigh

Mort,Ridyard and A,J must have got the wrong directions.
