Feel sorry for the Salford fans. Their team just isn't functioning. Saints should have had 80 tonight. I think Cashmere is out again. Took a big hit early in the first half and didn't see much of him after that. Feka. Forget it. I fear IM's phone will be hot this weekend. His or John Kears.

Re the last sentance we only had 12 pints . Salford were very poor and the second half Saints dropped too much ball otherwise it would have been a really big score.

Salford were disorganised especially defensively and there does not seem much team spirit in their side.

Kyle Eastmond is class and the disparaging comments from a few Saints fans behind us made me think they dislike him now cos they are convinced he is off to kick and clap soon.

Can this be turned around ie the Salford team ' well I am glad Basil will not be going there. I reckon over 55% of the attendance at least were Saints fans. They seem to be in for a tough season.

Not a good start for Salford, hopefully they'll look at Kear if they get fed up of Mcrae (I suspect they will keep at it for a while, franchise looks secure and there not moving to the new ground this season so I think they will see how things pan out).

Give over Frank. I was stood to the side of the Shed and the common estimates around me were that there were about 1,800ish Saints fans which I'd agree with. Good support from Salford rewarded with an utterly inept performance, the one-on-one dead was appalling and Feka is an embarrassment.

I think Karl would be a mistake as I think his old backroom staff are still there. Well Alan Hunte is and that could be one of the problems.

I cant see KH being interested in the salford job again.They should not of got rid of him in the first place.
Plus,iirc being part time coach at batley suits him with his business interests.
