Our youngest lad went. He's in Year 6 and his class were representing his school. When we asked about the experience he said -

"We waited around for 2 hours, she didn't speak and the packed lunch we got was rubbish"

thank u my point exactly felt sorry for the 32 coaches of kids that turned up and sat around for 2 hrs to b totaly ignored by the queen

And for the rest of their lives they will tell evreyone they either played in front of the Queen or saw her close up,when they are older they will think it was worth the 2 hour wait.

Wouldn't define 50 yards away as 'close up', personally.

A steward stopped her at the entrance because she didn't have a ticket. She used the "Do you know who I am?" line to try to get in.

The problem was that she tried to get into the North End of the West Stand with a West-South ticket.
