Probably, but I am sure Dewsbury would want some form of compensation as they have possibly missed out on halves they could have signed. With the loan being arranged they would have dipped out of the market for HBs |

The most likely scenario which fits is the "he has signed a contract but it is dependent on the RFL registering it" scenario. Which is where the discussions with the RFL come into play.

I cant see it myself theres too many teams after/enquired about him for it to make sense for him to go on loan in the championship. I would be more worried if Leigh signed a player like that than I would be if they got Chase. |

This appears to be the RFL interpretation in its Operational Rules. Dead simple - just get us, Dewsbury and Ben to agree and he's back - unless there are other 'conflicting rules lurking somewhere!  |

Ste I don't know where you are getting your figures from but believe me the players you named are on much more than your quote,60 grand for Rangi?Treble that ,he was on over 200 grand at Salford that is why Leigh will have to unload around 3 players to sign him Hock and Fui around 100 G a season along with Harrison H,Sam Barlow told a Fax player he was on 60 G a year,let's be real. |
