Honestly can't believe some of the stuff that's been wrote on here. Myself and Mrs. Optimist had a great day yesterday and as such would like to thank all concerned.
As for the supposed bad behaviour? We saw or heard nothing that we would not expect to hear at any other rugby league ground. In our opinion the Leigh supporters where fantastic and contributed towards a terrific atmosphere.
Me and Mrs.Optimist are big fans of rugby league and most other sports for that matter, as such we like to visit many events. However should we remain in the same division for next season you can rest assured that we will not be spending our money at Gateshead.

We were watching Corry tonight with my 9 yo daughter; there was catfights and unsociable behavior, ending with yon young lass shouting 'and we've christened every room'.
The wife and I are both devastated that our daughter has been subjected to this.
