| If the 5 game was one from Fev/fax, one from sheff/Batley plus three others would you buy one?
If the 5 game showed no discounts but meant no need to get a ticket from the office would you buy one?
This is purely me trying to get inside fans thoughts btw

For me personally
Q1 It's not about who we play it’s about when. I know I will make 5 or more games a season, but without knowing the full fixture list/dates, I can’t commit to a full season ticket, its simply about do the fixtures clash with other things we have planned, Holidays, football, 25th Wedding Anniversary , Daughters 21’s .
Q2 I have no real problem buying tickets individually, I finish early on Fridays (mid-day ) sometimes I call on my way home from work if its a 'big' game or just pick them up matchday, so doubt it, at the end of the day usually buying in advance benefits both parties.

| Cash turnstiles could help prevent the casual fans of being put off with the thought of long queues at the ticket office. If cash turnstiles where made possible I'd make sure people are aware of the fact that we are now acting in that manor.

I said this a few months back, I know Steve will say that it makes no difference but it does. Unless I go straight to the LSV when I get off the bus I end up having to queue for ages, usually in the pouring rain. Things like this are relatively easy to fix but make the match day experience a whole lot more enjoyable.
As for Maurice's question, it would be good for me as it would stop me making excuses for games against lesser teams. Not sure how well such a ticket would sell generally though. Maybe the club could speak to Warrington about how it has worked for them?

I think that’s an urban myth these days, most attractions/entertainment venues you have to buy tickets from the office prior to entry.
Plus I’ve stood at longer queues, half way up Chadwick Street in the rain with cash turnstiles, you may queue at the office but the turnstile is usually pretty clear. Swing and round-about for me.

...and tickets are available all week or longer in the lead up to the game. How many cash turnstyles? Will people go back to leaving the pub at 2.55? Then complain of long queues at cash turnstyle(s). Excuses/arguments can be made about any of the subjects here...cash/tickets. As pointed out most modern venues require ticket entry these days. To minimise the queues tickets can be bought whenever up to the game. If I remember rightly the could be bought online and sent out. Can't get there in the week, don't have a computer or can't be ar5ed.
You cannot give everyone what they want (especially Leythers!!), just try and make things easier.
PS is there a cash turnstyle for the Elton gig

Every week I go into Warrington's south stand through a cash turnstile, which has no more of a queue than Leigh's north stand ticket only turnstiles do.
If the LSV thinks it would be a problem though, maybe make it exact change only? Worth a try at least, I know they had cash turnstiles on the south stand for Leigh v Warrington back in Jan 2011 due to the huge queue at the ticket office.

In my case in answer to Q1 it would depend on when those games were being played as I work shifts. In answer to Q2 yes I would.

I'd have the 5 game ST for any fixture maybe a voucher book or if the LSV gets its machines working a swipe card for 5 games, once its used its gone.
I'd knock a £1.01 off the cost of x5 matchday tickets to make it attractive to advance purchase or alternatively ensure we get some kind of supporters club set up and allow free membership to that (along with all other ST holders, match sponsors etc, etc) or even put a discount on LCTV, Basically add a incentive but don't go OTT.
I think in these days of consumer choice we need to offer a small gain/ incentive but in all honesty I think the 5 game ST would be ideal for a number of people such as those with busy lifestyles who can't commit to Leigh week in week out but want to be part of the 'ride' I also think it will help those at the other spectrum who cannot commit as they just can't afford it maybe the ones who don't earn a great deal of money yet they try and support the club in anyway they can so we create something somebody could buy them as a present that isn't going to cost as much as a year long ST or give them a achievable cost to be able to save up for.
For me I'm in a similar boat as GLOW, Fixtures aren't confirmed so can't commit to a ST and its unlikely they'll got confirmed so a 5 Game ticket would have meant 'I've committed' in advance and the money is in Leigh's bank account in the off season.
The risk for Leigh is the type of people buying these tickets might come and pay anyway so we lose £5.05 Per person on the end financial result from ticket sales, the risk is they don't come and we could gain finance that equates to people coming to 2 more matches than they would have during the normal season as 'I've already paid so I might as well go'.
I'd say though getting a address for another ST allows us a bigger supporter database to use and if we start to attract fans a 5 match ST is a ideal one for a newby to RL to purchase as a 'taster' to what we are about.

| Jenky once again you have just taken the words right out of my mouth/finger
The club used to offer a 1 pound discount for early purchase, this would be the maximum discount applied to a multi ticket
A multi ticket empowers every fan that buys one to sell the club and matchday to anybody they want to, they can at a seconds notice invite as many people ( as tickets they still have ) to a game, it really is that SIMPLE, no need to overcomplicate it by thinking about it TOO much

| I think it a good thing to have for those who like Ian c who work shifts and he's stated somewhere hell probably be at more away games next season then home .
Also with the TV games not being announced people may not be able to go to those games and therefore the season ticket is. No no , if a 5 match ticket book is too much how about making it 7 games then ?

| Just a thought for a 'cash' turnstyle, but would a contactless payment with a card work? Just swipe you debit/credit card and in you go?

The Germans are well ahead of us at this kind of stuff'"
A worthwhile system if you have a stadium that is full on a regular basis, at Leighs current level it probably isnt viable

In Perpignan you have to exchange money for food/drink tokens. Was raining that much this year though your pint was watered down to nothing in seconds!
