The 'J' stands for Jane as in 'Calamity Jane', such was some of the stupid defensive decisions he was so adept at making with a recurring quick turnaround.
I think Tyson would be a better aquision (albeit if he's as reported in Aus it ain't going to happen) than Higson, George is all heart, gives his all, tough and quite skillful, and as someone as pointed out being top try scorer with a 15 for the season is not a bad return for a team at the bottom. |

Those tackles you mention looked very good when he connected, but for every one he tackled he missed one and left a huge gap.
Saying that though the best tackle he ever made was at Fev when he chased his opposing winger for 60 - 70 yards and tackled him and knocked the ball away when he was all but scoring

Thanks for that I did think it was Higson with some of the comments but never understood the J part so thought it might not have been. After seeing his Twitter rants not so long back can't see him coming back while Beaumont is there. That picture of him going to smack Danny Williams from behind will live long in my memory haha. Got to say what a start to the championship season that year that game was. Atmosphere was electric |

I give up trying to understand contracts these days - they don't seem to be worth the paper they are written on. Maybe Gregg will have the honour of having squad number 1 at two clubs, before a ball has been kicked in anger?
Actually, in some sports (not ours I hasten to add!) termination of a contract, due to failure to perform, isn't a bad thing for the contracted person. Ask the 'Special One', for instance - a [size£22m [/sizepay off for a spectacular failure to produce!  |
