That said, I do find some of the comments on here to be setting us up for a bit of a fall with predictions of thumping victories and the like. Yes, I think we're certainly capable of winning the game if things work in our favour, but a lot of people need to recognise that Wakefield are a Super League outfit by their own earning having finished so far ahead of the bottom two last season and had a more than decent start to the season in hammering Hull (46-10!), winning at Cas, sticking 40+ points past Hull KR and keeping Saints scoreless for more than hour. Granted the result at Warrington was a serious thumping, but they scored some decent tries against 'Fax and will enjoy the break from league action and, no matter what anyone says, they will go in to the game as favourites.

I'm looking forward to the game as much as anyone, but anyone predicting Leigh to win by anything other than the narrowest of margins need to wind their neck in, and the same goes for the inevitable predictions that we'll be taking over the ground etc etc when in reality if we even take 1,500 for a live TV game then it will be more than commendable.'"
