Do you actually think fev wanted those games on a Thursday night. Im sure they were Thursday due to premier sports. Fev lost out each time.

Im also sure we refused to play on thursday night to help you out financially to get a better share of the gate receipts on the sunday in a playoff game

Wrong on all counts I'd say, especially the bit about doing Leigh a favour. You have had so many 'favourable' rearranged fixtures over the last couple of years I though Nigel Wood had joined your board

Not trolling, not school age either. but im being serious. Maybe 300 slightly low but 500/600 is why too high. 5 coaches about 260 fans, same amount of fans didn't turn up in cars

Its also a fact that when you were having money troubles we refused to play Thursday on premier sports to help you out with a shared gate.

I have read more than once in this thread that we always play you on weekday evening at POR which isn't at all true. maybe i am wrong but sure we played Sunday afterrnoon twice last season.

Not interested in any debate about number of fans, my dads bigger than your dad etc..etc... Both clubs have great followings and we should be truly grateful to each other

The RFL can confirm that our CC fixture with Leigh is to take place on either Saturday 26th April or Sunday 27th April. More to follow

I highly doubt our CEO would make up this and put it into the public domain without being in the know

For what its worth, it didnt matter to me what day it was played, however i applaud my club for rejecting and then sticking to their guns on the matter on now what appears to be an unreasonable request from Leigh

Yes, never shyed away from letting us fans know anything

If W*gan wanted to play Friday night and Hunslet didn't want to there is no way in hell the RFL would force W*gan to move it.

RFL have been happy for teams to play on Thursdays in the league for the past few years so why not on a Friday.

If Leigh want to play Friday night, by choice or by circumstance, then we should be allowed to unless there is a valid reason from Fev why they can't play. "We think we'd take a few more fans on a Sunday" isn't a good enough reason, RFL are even softer than I thought if they give in to some whining from Fev.

Especially when he can build himself up as some sort of 'hero to the fans' in the process.
