| Barring Leutele coming off , which i hope was precautionary we came away with the points and no injuries.
Perfect day all round . 2 more wins means, if my maths are right, Salford and HKR need win 5 from 8 to stop us making top 6 .

| Not a vintage performance but still a win , I loved the guy in the West Stand wearing the flat cap back to front , telling the Leigh fans behind the posts to start cheering , when we were losing in the second half .
Still 2 points , I’m happy , bring on the Saints .

| I hope you had a great day Charlie.
I was glued to Radio Manc via ‘t’internet.
I would say that I was on the edge of my seat all game but that would be a lie. I don’t think I sat down all game.
This is a huge win. Ipape, and then Smith both game day withdrawals due to illness overnight, and 3pm KO must have taken some calm and calculated player management from A Lam and co. The biggest thing for me though, is how this team has learned how to win whether in front or behind. It’s been a long time since we had that type of team at Leyth.
One more thing. Well done to every traveling Leyther today. The noise over the radio coverage was awesome. Especially the second half when we were behind. Charlie said on another thread that he was as much use as a chocolate fire guard these days, well I beg to differ. Every single one of you at Salford today were vital to our team. Our boys never give up, but one big reason for that is the passion and dedication of our traveling fans.
Thanks to every one of you, especially Charlie from the Leyth chocolate fan factory.

| It was great to be at a game again, although I had to get the plasters out for my feet. I had to walk 3 miles to train station cos buzz was running late. After train a quick tram across Manchester centre for buzz to Salford, then another 2 mile walk to the stadium. But it was worth it. This team doesn't know when they're beaten. They just don't give up. A scrappy 1st half in which Salford were on top but after going 22-10 down, Leigh upped their game. Some of Joe Mellor's tackles were amazing on blokes much bigger than him. Saints game next and then Wiggin. Can't wait to watch those.

| Massive win. Like you say, they don’t know when they are beaten. Great following again, so thank you to each and everyone of you. You give the team such a lift when the going gets tough. That support got them over the line yesterday. One worry is the short turnaround compared to the nine days for Saints. I still have faith and belief in this team to get the job done. I don’t know how I can watch the game as Sky aren’t broadcasting it.

Thanks Paul for the mention , it was a good experience seeing the lads away , maybe a bit of a wait to get off the car park but worth it ,and the look and reaction of Brierley after Ricky Lueteles try was priceless I thought he was crying and stamping his feet , the Leyther fans were brilliant I can’t wait for the Semi game , my son in law is going and he’s a Warrington fan , cmon Leythers BE THE ROAR .

So happy you enjoyed the game Graham ,I know I did , pity I didn’t see ya I was sitting down in the West Stand , I’m glad your travel to the ground was worth the time it took .
I’m sure I saw Edwin Ipape with his wife at the game , we missed him yesterday , but a nice win , still second , bring on the Saints .

| Really enjoyed it, Charlie. I'm getting a lift next week with a mate, but similar trek the week after as I begin my odyssey through darkest Wiggin. May have to bring a bag of pies to leave as a peace offering for the local tribesmen, and donkey stones for their women folk.

| Naughty, Wisi. Haha!
First win at Salford in 49 (was it?) years - that's because we're sending V1s at them. The Doodlebugs have done the biz but it is now time to send Bee 52s to Wigan (you won't get that, VL).
Yesterday, Bongser had to take a 132 to The Trafford Centre and shank it from there; just in time!
Just in time as it turned out for a very antsy game - until the Lady with the Big Hooters finally Sang.

| I beg to differ BnB
I am fully online with the V1, Doodlebugs and B(bee) 52 word play. Very clever mate
I also think taking pies and donkey stones could work, but taking a translator will be needed for sure.
I worked at Wiggin and Pemberton nicks for many years. I never did fully understand the locals however. Strange tongue for sure and hard to tell the guys from the gals except at 2am on Kings Street. The gals are the ones with shoes under one arm and a kebab under the other.

I totally agree with your comments about Joe Mellor. What a whole hearted player. Last week against Cas he came on as sub. for Edwin after half an hour and did a great job out of position including the tackle of the season to stop a certain Cas try in the last minute.
Then on Sunday he gives a full 80 minutes in this unfamiliar position which included the tigerish tackling you mentioned. If it wasn’t for Ben’s brilliant goalkicking, he would definitely make my Leigh team.
